I have been learning a lot more about rendering with Javascript, so I am certain I can make procedurally generated planets (and backgrounds, if I can find a working algorithm).

My ship was destroyed. It will be hard to recover from this, since their is a rank 9 Oman very close.

Here‘s some info for you to look over. If necessary, a program called Irfanview is excellent for converting images from one file type to another.

Richard Skinner and I have both tried to tackle this problem. I have also tried importing SketchUp models through Blender. In the case of SketchUp, it seems the .mat files were renamed to /*filename*/.mat.meta. I think the problem may lie here, as Blender seems to recognize the existence of the textures and their grouping structure (which faces they apply to). Both Richard Skinner and I have had more important things to work on and have not directly solved the problem, but their is another solution. Schmatzler was working on retexturing a model in this thread:

Also, here is here Richard Skinner and I were discussing textures:

I think I was unable to successfully install when I tried on Windows 8. I have it on disk, so it may be different than other versions. But, I have the XP virtual machine for a reason.

    It works in Windows 8/10?!

I did not know that, probably because I got the 3dfx wrapper after installing the game on a VM.

    Glad you joined!

Each turn is 3 hours long. This helps level the playing field, especially when it comes to time zones and tight schedules. Each player has five moves per turn. Certain actions, like capsule jumping and powering down, require all five moves. When the next turn arrives, you will be given five more moves. After a move is used, it is automatically ended, but the turn isn’t. For more information, refer to the tutorial, game guide, rules, and F.A.Q.

Warning: “This is CRAFTSMAN, a Senior Executive(7) of Mass Corporation, and captain of the Corporate Cruiser “EASTERN AXE”. Your existence will only add to my score, sharing the fate of that last Oman.”
