Briareos is way cooler than this stupid gangster robot. How dare you! 😛 You can’t compare Chappie to this epic beast:
And yes, I was aware that “Die Antwoord” is actually playing in the movie. Maybe it would’ve been better without them.
To be completely fair: “Chappie” is still better than the last Appleseed movie.

adminKeymasterI have now added all of the documents.
A new I-War / Defiance Modding section has been opened up with some articles:
- Free Exploration Mode
- Message Board Questions
- Vurt’s Briefing Reference
- Vurt’s Dialogue Reference
- Indie’s Mission Scripting Tutorial
- Command line switches
- Scripts & Tricks by The Infinity
I’ve also opened up a new section “Other” under the Documents, where I put everything else that is somehow related to I-War:
Interviews
- Interview with Glyn Williams
- Particle Systems Interview
- Q&A with Particle Systems
- Interview with Chris Mann
- Michael Powell Interview
Reviews
- PC Gamer / June 2001
- Adrenaline Vault – EoC Preview
- Gamesdomain – EoC Preview
- Gamesdomain – EoC Review
- PC Format 124 – Review
- gameON – EoC Review
Misc
- PC Gamer Ad
- Space-Sim Interview Transcript
- FoamBrick’s I-War FAQ
- I-War Combat Guide
That’s it – we now have everything! Time to clean this up and make a news article on the front page. 😆
Oh and btw, I also found Stephen Robertsons website, it’s still up 😉

adminKeymasterI am now finished with uploading and sorting in all the files – and I’m exhausted. 😀
The only things that are still left are documents. I have another fanfiction, some interviews and a lot of I-War/Defiance related modding tutorials left.
I will sort these into the documents section later and will post links to them here. Have fun! And another big-up to akula65 for keeping this available for newcomers 🙂

adminKeymasterWe have so many of them, I can’t really pick one.
But I suggest you should try out the biggest ones – Buda5 and Torn Stars 🙂
And maybe you should start the game with Custom Jafs and the Location Finder – they make the game way more fun:

adminKeymasterYes, there is. You can install WinCDEmu from here:
This creates a virtual CD drive and should be enough for the game to run. 🙂 If it doesn’t, load any ISO file into WinCDEmu, for example this one:
http://www.slackware.com/~alien/slackboot/mini/14.1/slackware_i486-14.1-mini-install.iso
If you are on Windows 8 or 10, you don’t even need additional programs, you can load the ISO directly in Windows and that gives you a virtual CD drive 🙂

adminKeymasterHello and welcome to our community! 🙂 The last and only one, so to say.
Is the game asking you to put the CD in when you first start it?
The button to start Singleplayer is usually missing when it can’t find a CD drive.

adminKeymasterI just bought it now.
It’s alright – they were a bit sloppy in copying the GOG version (a registry key is missing, some useless GOG stuff is still in there and the logo looks like garbage), but you can play online after creating a shortcut and it works just like the GOG version does. Better than most developers who release unpatched games on Steam! 😉

adminKeymasterMe too. They would certainly spice up my old Windows 98 notebook. 😉
They are on my wishlist. I haven’t gotten any files yet, but I received a big linklist, too! So I was able to retreive a lot of stuff from archive.org and I’ll upload all of that soon.
