Any questions you got, throw them at me. 🙂A better solution might be to simply set the min=0.01, which will cause it to extend the highres texture much farther. You’d have to also set the midres texture max to 0.01 and the min to something less than that, and similarly change the lowres texture.
I’m not sure what you mean by “two similar ships” in the setup.lws; I just checked it and it seems to be entirely normal to me.
I’m really interested in how much of an improvement you’re able to make to these textures. 🙂 Think you might be interested in posting some before/after pics?

Unfortunately, the game’s compatibility is aging poorly. The FAQ linked by Chessking is probably the best resource for solving the issue.

XD I didn’t begin posting until 6 years ago and some light stalking of your profile shows that you’ve posted full 11 years ago. I just am always happy when an old user returns to the forums. 😀
The discord server is created and has been for some time. The join link is in my sig. 😉 Most of the activity is myself giving updates on the progress of my remake, but now and then there’s an additional conversation about some random part of the game.
