    lolwut? That’s way harder than using Unity. With Unity, it’s practically drag-and-drop. The only coding you need is applying forces for thrusters and such, which is one line.
    To each his own, of course, but I really think you’re overcomplicating things. XD

    Well, in Instant Action I fly with the unmodded files. Same in the normal game. I don’t like the loadout in Instant Action, which gives me a good challenge. 😛 I’ll bet though that the dual Gatlings would tear you up before you could get close. And in the normal game, I run 6 neutron PBCs when they become available. That’s the thing; it wouldn’t be fair for you to fly such a heavily modded ship when I’m flying a vanilla ship. :whistle: I’d still be willing to give it a shot though. Oh, and I always tote along a Deathblow remote or two, so I could murder you before you even enter gun range. 😛

    As for your snarky comment concerning shields, well, I just dare you to beat two heavy cruisers using a single light PBC in the Tug. You’ll be really grateful for shields then. I only succeeded once. 😛 You’re running a glass cannon build, but seriously, shields are necessary on larger vessels.

    I’d challenge you to a multiplayer on the server, but my left joystick broke and my right one is atrophying faster than Clay’s memory. 🙁 Once I get a new pair of sticks it’s on if you’re game. 👿

    Well… In order to see whether I had rotated the heavy cruiser’s turrets correctly, I made a mod that changes the Instant Action tug to a heavy cruiser. Which would explain where those stray two hours yesterday went… :blush: It was so hilarious, taking on two heavy destroyers and not receiving a single hit through the shields.

    Anyway, the heavy cruiser’s turrets are correctly rotated now, making it capable of putting three gatling guns on a target at any given time. Or three per target when you have one ship in each quarter, take your pick. B)

    Sometime soon I’ll upload the mod for changing the IA tug to a heavy cruiser so you guys can get lazy with your piloting. 😛

    In the meantime, I gotta fix the turrets on the Danube cruiser and the carrier now, but that should be it. Then I can rewrite that mission and I’m done. 🙂

    Just use Unity. It has C# and a modified form of Javascript. It’s got a ton of incredibly handy tools for 2D games. I’d say it downright excels at them. I made a fairly basic but incredibly fun game that’s sorta like a Ring Runner game in one month using Unity.
    Super busy, can’t help more, but I’m just tossing that in there for ya. 🙂

    That’s how old I was when I started playing the game. :cheer: I can see why she loves the sparkly-purple AM stream. 😉

    As for that exploit, I’ve used it plenty of times. 😛 I think I once ended up with over 20 capital ships present. Soon, of course, there were 0. B)

    Screenshots are awesome. Go ahead and stick in a ton of them, but rather than link to the screenshot page, it might be a bit more convenient to use an image link so the image shows in your post. My filter is really picky sometimes. :dry:

    As for aiming the guns, you can’t do that manually. Technically, they don’t actually rotate to point at the target. Assuming the enemy ship is withing the fire arcs, when you pull the trigger, the shot is positioned at the gun, its rotation changed to point straight at the little lead indicator, and the speed set to the .ini file’s value. It’s all hardcoded and can’t be changed except by completely replacing the whole weapons system. (Which I once started doing, but never finished.) Sorry about that.

    It’s quite endearing to hear about you playing with your sis. I’ve never tried that since I co-operate horribly with people on-the-fly :silly: but it sounds absolutely lovely.

    Oh, and if you’re looking for some additional challenge in your opponents, this mod here will give them a bit more of an intelligence edge. 😉

    Right, I checked the stick, and its hat switch inputs exactly the same as my absolutely worthless piece of garbage Logitech Extreme 3d Pro. With that in mind, I opened the config file and added the underlined stuff:
