ParticipantIn the topic “I War-2 revamp unity 3d”, Shmatzler gave me the link. Re-posting for convenience:

ParticipantI finally finished playing through EOC today. However, I then read through Act 3 B in the docs, and it appears I missed some content in one mission. So I’ll replay that mission, and then install the free-form mode mod.

ParticipantHere’s some cursors I made using RealWorld Cursor Editor. One is almost identical to the one you see when you mouse over the horizontal navigation buttons.

ParticipantOriginally I’m more of a Cinema 4D guy and I have some decent experience with it, but it doesn’t seem to run with wine here anymore. Since I don’t want to switch to Windows, this will be an excellent opportunity for me to learn Blender.
You should look into Virtual Machines. Using VirtualBox, VirtualPC, or VMWare, you can run a Windows OS inside a window, toggling between your real OS and the virtual machine easily. It can be difficult to obtain an image to use, but there are ways to create your own.

ParticipantI’ve never had that happen to me as fr as I remember. But you guys have played a lot more than I have. I think it would be interesting if racing was an option for earning money in the game.

ParticipantEdit: Alright, “Mesh->Faces->Tris to Quads” fixed that problem for me. Now I still have to get it more detailed, seems like I need to do that manually for each part where the ship looks odd. 😐
Thanks! i didn’t know how to do that. That helps a lot with making a paper model of the Storm Petrel.

ParticipantThanks! My Desktop looks much better now. I used to have a slideshow of stretched 600×800 screenshots. :pinch:

ParticipantA game called “Eternal Silence” was mentioned a while back. I got it, but it is only multiplayer also. They have two tutorials with very basic NPC’s, but that’s all.
On my 2-D game, I think making AI will be simple in nature and fun.
