I’ve stopped playing for a while now, because I sold my old Tower PC (was way too expensive regarding power) and now I don’t have a Gameport for my Sidewinder FF Pro on my netbook.
Before I can seriously start playing again, I need to solder myself an adapter. I’m starting to miss the game already… 🙁

I know of a bug where the saves folder doesn’t get created at all. It only happens with the GOG version and only a few users experienced it. I don’t know what causes it.
The symptoms you have sound exactly like a missing saves folder. Try deleting and creating it again, maybe it’s a problem with write permissions in this directory.

You’re right. I linked directly to the IP which was changing very often, because the direct URL http://www.iwarpapermodels.org/ always redirected to a very confusing Paper Model Webring page when you visited it the first time.
But now even that page is gone. But if it doesn’t come back, we can hopefully copy it via archive.org 🙂

Alright, this should now be fixed. They changed some stuff in Joomla which broke the Who’s Online functionality in the forums for users that never logged out.
I applied the fix in the bug report to the code here. Fingers crossed that it works. :whistle:

I was at the hospital for a few days and I’m still not feeling very well.
This is probably a bug within Kunena, the forum software.I will look into this when I can concentrate a bit better, hopefully tomorrow. ^.^
