I guess this was due to results of the internal testing. GOG always makes extra sure that the games run on the vast majority of the systems, so who knows what issues they ran into. However, it might be worth a try to contact them directly. Schmatzler, can you do that?

Ha! I took even longer. I still have to finish I-War 1: Defiance, and Independence War 2 as well. The problem is that I like to finish with a score of 100%, and the mission I have trouble with is the one where you take some wingmen and attack that station. I don’t actually remember the name, but it’s still quite at the start of the game.
One of those days I’ll take the time to complete it – but not today. I still have to earn enough cash to get me that third Hellbringer ‘mech! 😉

To be honest, I found the video to be downright painful. I agree that I-War (1 and 2) should never be played without a joystick, and I’d also like to add that the games should not be played without any preparation just for kick’s sake. For me, it wasn’t even fun watching those guys fail hard.
