Well, we have an issue. My internet connection is too slow to stay in contact with the server. I managed to log on and blast bots for a couple of minutes, but then the sound broke and things started jumping. :angry:
Dunno if the duel will work out. I might try a time when there’s likely to be less people trying to use the internet; that might help. :dry:

Does Unity support Python scripting? I’m teaching myself Python, and it’d be neat if I could script some basic mission or function mods for the remake. It’d give me some goals to strive for… but then maybe I’ve overloaded myself with programming projects. :unsure:

Hoy, Hackaday reviewed a printer that I think is essentially the same but for the logo on it. http://hackaday.com/2016/06/13/review-monoprice-mp-select-mini-3d-printer/ Is that the one you already saw?

Maaan, your monitor is huge. I can barely make out your contacts list. :blink:
I gotta get a joystick; flying with the keyboard is a pain. I bound flight assist to left shift because it’s right under my thruster hand, but now Windows tries to turn on Sticky Keys in the middle of dogfights, and returns to the desktop when I’m drifting and changing the cockpit view mode. Gotta fix that.

That reminds me… I have a laptop running Ubuntu, if you want to test linux compatibility. Not that that would be an issue if you’re using Unity… :side:

You may not beat SC for objective quality, but you can definitely achieve what you set out to do. That may be more than Chris Roberts and his millions of dollars can manage… 😛
