    Haha, Google Translate has betrayed me many times before. One time I showed a German sentence I wrote to my mom. She doesn’t know German at all, and put it into Google Translate. I then had to pull out my German-English dictionary, my German workbook, and the grammar book as well and work for the next two hours proving why I’m right and Google is wrong. :sick:
    Fun laughing about it afterwards, but I would NOT want to go through that again.

    Interesting thoughts. Having been merely 7 when I first played the game, and used to games like RCT or Putt-Putt at the time, I was absolutely mesmerized by the story line. There was no way I could have found fault with it. Even now, when I play, I am transported back to the world of delight I first experienced in the game. It’s very difficult for me to be startled by plot holes or inconsistencies, I’ve gotten so used to them. Especially since I didn’t realize they were unrealistic until long after they became normal.
    Possibly when I re-write the story for my mod I’ll see whether I can improve on this. I certainly won’t remove the piracy elements; they are a big part of what hooked me into this game in the first place! But I’ll see if they can be expanded upon. 🙂

    Ja, ich lerne Deutsch auch. 🙂 Might I say, Chessking, that verbs do not use “bin” beforehand? Also the word endings were a little messy; your sentence should have been “ich lerne Deutsch.” 😉
    Also, I’m pretty sure “ja” and “jawohl” aren’t completely interchangeable, although it’s close. Jawohl would essentially translate to “yes indeed,” basically being more affirmative than simple “ja.”

    As regards the next mod name, I was just goofing off with this one. I highly doubt I’ll be able to make the next mod start with “z.” 😆

    That’s because, while they do exist in the game, they are never put into the trade screen. If they are ever in a convoy, I have never seen them, despite probably stealing 1,000,000 pods in my 8 years of playing.

    I don’t know if they have their AI set below max, but if so, then yes. The thing is, all ships have an AI mindset thingy applied when they are created. Military, coward, bold, etc. I think there’s a special one that only the T-fighters get. Basically these mindsets govern reaction times, what maneuvers are performed, how the ship reacts to things like superior foes, all that jazz. Because the T-fighters seem to ahve a different flight style than your average ship, I get the suspicion that they have a custom mindset.
    I never detach them because lazy and they get killed, so I’m not entirely sure whether they have their AI preset at the default 80%. If they do though, they definitely are improved by the mod.

    Now you’ve sparked my interest in having them fly detached. B)

    TLDR: Very probably.

    Yes. The Storm Petrel looks small because of the low poly count and low-res textures, but if you open the model in a 3d modelling program and stick some chairs in, they fit fine.
    The Encyclopedia says that the Storm Petrel’s length is 35 meters. The wingspan of a Boeing 737 is 34.7 meters, if I did the math right.
