Post some screenshots! I’d like to know what you’ve made so far!

I read recently that the part of the brain responsible for processing smells is close to the part of the brain responsible for emotion. That is probably why the “epic” feeling of Independence War is so closely tied to the shed and the smell of summer. Just today I went out and cleaned that shed up some, so that it is fit for playing in. Also, if I move my game out there, then I can install Torn Stars on my laptop for when I am travelling or in town.

P.S. I have started work on more mods, and have some finished I-War related projects that I need to take pictures of and upload. Please put some pressure on me to help me get them done!

P.P.S. I have still made little progress on my 2-D I-War programs, but I am still learning, and still exited about that project. I am going to aim for a demo version with many of the mechanics and some of the models for the finished games.

Could I-War 3 be written as a mod?

Also, the game should definitely include features from many of the mods already made. For example, the mining techniques in Gold Rush and Torn Stars, along with the merchant systems of Torn Stars, should be included so that the player can earn a living get new systems and weapons through means other than piracy and trading pirated items. This would also incorporate the market system included in Gold Rush, Torn Stars, and Future Trader.

Looks cool! I hope they make it. I can imagine it would be a disappointment to be building a game and end up not being able to finish it. The tunnel based system of the old games and part of the new is interesting.

For Easter, I colored an egg to look like Lucrecia’s base.

I agree, a Storm Petrel would be the best. I fell in love with that ship when it first left the hangar under my command. I then forgot about it when I got the Tug, but now that I am a better pilot, I think that the Storm Petrel is way better than the Tug. The Storm Petrel can dodge most shots, but can withstand few hits. The Tug cannot dodge, and can withstand a moderate amount of hits. I think that if Hot4Darmat took up paper modelling again, he should make a Storm Petrel.

Awesome! I like the new look! I was getting tired of the black background o. It also helps to have the starmap image n top, rather than the fanfictions image.
