I don’t see a mod description in-game at all. šŸ™ It is okay, though. It can be really hard to get all of the associated files in place before release. I may be close to finsihing the new keybinder, but I still have to write a readme so you guys know how to use it.

The simplest proof that the mod works is to fly to a station and watch the AI vessels fly at 250 m/s instead of 200. šŸ™‚

Gotcha. I have only tried it in Instant Action, but I will probably be using it whenever I play.

I never looked into Future Trader of iFleet much… I remember being able to buy gunstars for your base, though, and that is definitely pretty cool.

I have been testing this, and it is working well. I have added the ability to change the file’s title with the keybinder, although the characters available are very limited. I need to test out the keys I do not know the titles to, such as ALT, the backslash, the colon, etc. Also, does anyone know for sure if “Backquote” is the double quotation marks? The key is used to chat in multiplayer. My multiplayer is not working at all right now, or I would test it.

I finally got around to trying this out. Is the change noticeable? I’m not sure. First note, it helps to have Multimod enabled. šŸ˜† In the first Instant Action battle I tried, a few fighters destroyed me. They don’t usually seem to be that accurate. The second battle felt about normal, though, and I finally died with sixty-some kills and a score of over 1900. About what I usually get. I think the thing that would prove the mod is doing its job would be to use it to set all ships to 10%, and see if they die more easily.

: Here is the full list of blueprints I own:
    Turret Fighter
    Seeker Missiles
    Gnat Pack
    Hammer Pack
    Seeker Mine Pack
    Gatling Cannon Ammo
    Sniper Cannon Ammo

I have not found blueprints for deadshot missiles or harrower missiles. The ability to manufacture Deathblow REM missiles would be a good addition, as well. In the end, it would be really cool if you could manufacture whole ships, and both build and maintain a fleet that way.

Wow, I count 129 separate controls for this game. Maybe I will have to add a feature to sort out what players are actually looking for. Other than that, I have almost all of the functionality in place, and just need to chug through formatting the other sixty controls.

P.S. I did not mean to put a smiley face, the file has the colon, dash, and right bracket used to indicate a smiley face.

I have been looking at the existing keybinders a little, and I noticed something interesting. NeoGriever’s keybinder includes a button that adds cheat keys into the config. These are developer tools that allow you to jump to target, destroy target, damage self, etc. Now I understand why there is a cheat keys section in the config, populated only by “:-)”

There was someone who once played around with procedural planet textures and different backgrounds, but he hasn’t been around for a while. Most of the textures are in .iff format, which is really hard to work with. I don’t think such a mod has been created, but it may be possible.

Probably you can just hit the mods that you know have keybinds for sure, and if someone has an additional one, they can just whine in this thread. šŸ˜‰

My thoughts exactly. I will do Torn Stars for sure.

Good point. To do this, I will need to know which mods have custom keybinds. The ones I know of are Torn Stars, Gold Rush, and maybe uniGUI and uniGUI related mods like Future Trader. This will probably be implemented with a checklist on the side. Select which mods are currently installed, (or keybind them all before hand, I don’t think this will break anything) and fill out the commands.
