ParticipantWell, looks like this mod will turn I-War 2 into a whole new game. If anything I’d advise to work on the “simple” components first and leave the more complex stuff for later. I wish you the best of luck!!!

ParticipantIronDuke, what does the Massacre mod do? I didn’t find it in the mod list here on the site.

ParticipantHere’s what I don’t understand WRT Rogue System:
“Rogue System’s goal is to bring the classic space-combat sims into the modern era of gaming at a never-before-attempted level of control. It blends the capabilities and usability of modern games with the detail and fidelity of hardcore combat flight-sims. With a simulated science fiction setting, richly deep spaceship management, and intense combat, Rogue System satisfies both the “survey” and “study” sim enthusiast.”
What exactly does that mean? Nowhere on the website I found any mention that the game will feature Newtonian physics. Or did I simply miss that information? Ciberputa, can you shed some light?

ParticipantThe issue I have with Evochron is basically that its planets are essentially lifeless, essentially textured rocks, no vegetation whatsoever. Even the cities are jusr a few buildings, and that’s it. I have yet to find a game that manages to create *inhabited* planet that are actually believable, with vegetation, cities, roads, traffic (air and ground based). To date, sadly, to my knowledge no game offers that.

ParticipantMy first real quality-joystick ever was a Logitech Wingman Extreme. That thing too had issues with re-calibrating. It even had two wheels next to it for easy re-calibration. That alone should have warned me back then, but I had no idea that it’s such an annoying and at the same time such an often necessary task. The Flightstick, on the other hand, needed to be calibrated only once. Since then, it works like a charm.

ParticipantI have a Thrustmaster Flightstick X, which is a good, unexpensive joystick with speed control on the left side. It doesn’t have Force Feedback, though. Still, I can recommend it.

ParticipantNo, but maybe he can give you the patch or has information on who has it.
