To be honest, I consider Custom Jafs and the Location finder a necessity rather than just a mod. Besides, BUDA and Torn Stars are more like Total Conversions, so they don#t necessarily fall into the category Mowgli might have had in mind.

Bah, Multiplayer again. I always get the feeling that they are just too laze to build a proper Singleplayer game, all with decent AI, assets, a background story and voice acting. It’s the same thing as with the new Descent Kickstarter thingy, all MP arena crap and nothing more. And this Starfighter seems to be the same in space. Nah, I’d rather put my hopes into the games Ironduke, Chessking and Richard are making. 😉

The creator said on the KS description page that they’ll consider making SP into a tier or something like that. Anyway, since that meant that SP is not on board from the start, I immediately lost interest.

I admit that I had huuuge fun with D1 (or 2?) in MP back in the days, but “MP only” is what I absolutely disagree with. I mean, sure, it’s less work for the creators who don’t need to program an AI but instead just provide a sandbox for the players to move in, but from a gaming perspective, I’m absolutely into SP with the rare exception of WoT or MWO.

Well, while I was initially hyped by the thought that we might soon have a new Descent (the second installment is my favourite one), I was put off that Descent: Underground will be MP only with an *optional* SP campaign *maybe* somewhere in the future, and only if enough gullible fools… sorry, I mean KS backers will back the game. I will not be a part of this.

What exactly? His bitching? Or the very fact that he exists? I for one find it a quite elegant way to move the loot to the base. After all, I kind of don’t see my Tug transporting dozens of containers there.

Is the Gagarin cluster the “secret cluster”?

No, right now my “collection” consists of a BSG Viper and an Enterprise from the 2001 show, as well as an unfinished model kit for a Babylon 5 Starfury. There are actually very few ships out there that get enough of my interest to warrant buying a model, but the Dreadnaught would actually be such a ship.
