ParticipantI really wonder what’s going on behind their scenes. To this day, I don’t really have an idea how this game will play, I don’t really know anything. They could at least show what they have – which hopefully is more than just a bunch of CGI screens and concept art.

ParticipantThanks man. It sure looks awesome! Can’t wait for December 15th, when the first ep will be available world-wide. ^^

ParticipantIt’s not a security problem, Chessking, it’s a privacy problem. Everyone responds differently to that, and there are folks who don’t give a damn about those issues. For me, however, it’s a no-go.

ParticipantHm. The graphics sure looks fine, but as the reviewer said, it’s basically a deathmatch game ATM. Let’s see how this evolves. I for one am glad that the Battletech Kickstarter blew through all funding stages in one hell of a campaign: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/webeharebrained/battletech/description

ParticipantThanks. Those games have either a Linux client (War Thunder) or run under Wine. Nice! 🙂

ParticipantThey all offer a DX9 render path. The question is: how well do those games run? I dearly hope that with Steam OS, game devs will open up more toward Linux.

ParticipantI just read your article. God this is so complicated.
Can you play F2P titles like World of Tanks, War Thunder and MechWarrior: Online?

ParticipantIf you worked in the security sector, you’d be paranoid, too. For example, I never use my Android phone for work-related stuff. My Windows system is also locked up quite well, or so I hope. Anyway, there *are* European distros, and I fully intend to explore them once the need is pressing enough.
By the way, what software do you use for playing Windows games on Linux? What other Windows games do you play on Linux beside I-War (2)?
