G’day, I’ve got the same problem for several weeks now and don’t know how to fix (oviously, otherwise I wouldn’t post here:)). After destroying all three marauder bases in act 2 Igo back to base and save. When I then try to load that savegame, I return to the base with the correct background, I even can still sitch the pictures but there is now menu on the left side. I cannot get with esc in the save and finish aso. menu. Same with the autosave if I started afterwards to fly around a bit…
I have version 8.0(?) that’s what it says in the readme, pretty old, when I think, that I just got it last year…Zorrohs
