Issue with Wolf’s Lair Mission

So I just took this game back out of my CD collection to play again, and it seems I have an issue with the Wolf’s Lair mission. I know I am spose to follow the Marauders to an L-point from a distress signal, but there is a small problem trying to follow that simple step.

I approach the distress signal in the Firefrost System. I then target one of the Marauders and select Follow from the Autopilot Menu. At that point I follow for a bit, throw some shot into them and the go into hyper. The issue is my ship just sits there and doesn’t follow the other ship into hyper and it leaves my contact list. I know I could *try* to follow it in Hyper manually, but that’s very hard to do.

Anyone around that still reads these forums have a suggestion? Thanks.
