The Mission: Find help to combat marauders in other systems

I carried out the requirements for this missions: I kept the marauders off, while the ambassador escaped, but the mission is still incomplete.

Is this right?

I have had other missions since that, but things have gone quiet now.

Is this mission ongoing?

I don’t require what to do, only whether the current situation is correct or not.
