I think I messed up

[Bias Virus]

When I was playing the game in act2 I got a mission from the MCA about tracking down the marauders useing the sensor ship. The mission was called Blood Hound and in the end I destroyed the marauder base with the ram ship and I flew home but now I haven’t heard anything from anyone and I think I wasn’t meant to do that mission so soon and now I think I have messed up the story line of the game can anyone tell me if I haven’t messed up and the game is still right.
