NSO Laplace no longer actively manufacture it the Danube class cruiser, preferring to licence it for manufacturing to several planetary governments, The operating costs of the Danube class are higher than other equivalent vessels, though its cost to manufacture is less, and it is easily modified for a variety of roles. Known variants include fighter support vessels and mobile scientific bases.

Von Schelling Industries are well known for their innovative ship designs, and the Capitalist class corporate cruiser is no exception. Designed as mobile corporate headquarters the Capitalist class is a formidable vessel. Its six heavy thrusters, channelling plasma from a unique triple fusion ring engine, give excellent power to mass ratios and providing triple redundancy in the event of a ring failure. Weapons usually range from PBC turrets and missile launchers on the basic models to anti-capital ship beam weapons and gatling cannons on the ‘deluxe’ models. In addition the Capitalist cruiser can launch small drones and utility vehicles to support its corporate role. Von Schelling have retained the sole rights to manufacture the Capitalist class cruiser, and much of their income is derived from leasing the vessels to other corporations and selling them cruiser maintenance contracts.

One of the latest ships to emerge from the Von Schelling shipyards, the Nova class heavy cruiser is the result of a private contract with the Navy for replacement of aging Danube class cruisers. Only a few of these gargantuan vessels have been built, and all are believed to be in service with the Navy, on station in the Sol cluster. Many details are currently classified, though it is known to carry several anti-capital ship beam weapons, numerous gatling cannons and it may also be capable of carrying short-range fighters.
