Hi,
here is the profile I created for EOC2 for a X55.
As far as I know, windows can sometimes change the joystick numbers around (I’m using pedals, not mapped for EOC2 however), so you probably will need to change joystick2 to 1, and 3 to 2 within the config file. Using notepad, and the replace all command, if you change from to 2 to 1, then from 3 to 2, it is only a few clicks :). ( Joystick2, JoyButton11 to Joystick1, JoyButton11 for example)
It is mapped as follows:
Main trigger button – fire
Button 2 = cancel
Button 3 (top side right)- switch secondaries
Button 4 (thumb) -switch primary
POV up – contact list up
POV down – contact list down
Multi directional (next to POV) all menus and HUD navigation (starmaps etc)
Throttle:
Both throttles needs to be linked as one, otherwise, the top speed is 50% (not sure how or why).
Button 1 (red one) Target (and sub target/tag if in range).
Button 2 (push on the top large rotationay) engage/cancel LDS
UP/Down on the top multi small button – change hostile targets.
I tried to bind the contacts up/down to the rotationaries, but only the large one and RTY4 can be mapped it seems, and it is unusable for being way too fast. The scroll-wheel can not be mapped either unfortunately. I’m sure the saitek profiles can be used to change all this by remapping, but well … 🙂
