Starting with the 18th December 2014 the new i-war2.com website is fully functional!
There may be some occasional glitches here and there, though – if you find them, report them in this thread, please.
I intend to keep the website updated with new mods, fixes and content that I stumble over.
You may wonder who I am. My name is Ronny Schmatzler – I am very enthusiastic about old games. I am running Multiplayer servers for old games on my website www.hirnschwund.net for years.
When I read that the old maintainer decided to shut down i-war2.com, I decided to step in – it was a very short-term decision, so don’t hesitate to tell if you see any errors on the website!
I thought I was dreaming when I received the mail: “wait, wat?”
WOOT WOOT WOOT! 😀
Nope, it’s not a dream. 🙂
I am collecting a lot of stuff at the moment that is still missing on the website.
Someone even wrote a really cool EoC keybinder – but the links are dead. 🙁 Oh, let’s hope he responds…
Yey! 😀 😆 🙄
Thank you, sir!
All looking very good schmatzler. Thank you. As iterated in my email, if you need anything, just shout.

Fantastic to see that someone has picked up the torch. I had no idea that SoupDragon was bowing out.
Farewell SoupDragon! Thanks for keeping the flame alive for so very long! You will be missed.
Welcome Schmatzler! Thanks for keeping the flame alive!
Fan of the abandoned wares, I recently picked up I-war, thought it was a gem well made. Still trying to play it fullscreen.
Thanks for keeping the space dream alive SoupDragon. Good luck to you.
Schmatzler, Thanks for keeping the legend going.
Amazing news, thanks so much for your hard work!
Thanks cambragol. Thanks taishi. May your journey continue long into the future.
It’s getting better every visit schmatzler. Thanks again.
