Attacking League ships

I’m still at an early point in the game where I’ve joined with the Stepsons, but not the League. Are the League utlities/transports considered fair game at the L-Points, etc.? I’d hate to screw things up by attacking the wrong ships. Basically, is it “okay” to attack and pirate from anything that’s not blue? Also, where’s the best place to find station component. Thanks,
