More advice from experts…

Shane (I mean “sir”), I’d appreciate a little additional mission advice if possible. I’m now in Act 2 and have just returned from completing the “Exile” mission (save the ambassador) and the Oman trials. Upon arriving back at base, there are no less than 7 emails waiting. Is there any way to prioritize these? I don’t particularly like “walkthroughs” (except in extreme emergencies), so I really don’t know which mission to accept first, second and so on. Also, there’s an extortion letter from some character named “Big Jack” who says he’ll make my life miserable if I don’t help him. Is this serious — or how seriously should I take it? Finally, at the end of the Exile mission (save the ambassador by switching IFF’s), his assistant said “take this” (after I killed the Marauders). However, back at base, I can’t find anything new in my inventory or loadout. What was he supposed to have given me? The Oman trades are great. Now if I can only find terraforming materials, I can get a Heavy PBC.
